Weather on 29th Nov = Perfect.
Sunny, relatively cloudless.
Cycling again. Same time same place. 4.40 SPC. I only got 3 hours of sleep. We went to Marina Barrage this time. The air along the road going in is terrible. Not too bad at 6am because work hasn't started yet. But when you get out at like 7.30, it's hard to see anything. You got to squint or the dust will get in the eyes.
After cycling was salvation army kettling for another 6 hours starting from 1, with a 2 hour break in between. So I had to stand for 4 hours altogether.

I just finished talking to Jeremy seow and he's off to Australia! Have a good trip (: Don't waste your time. Sigh no talking partner for 9 days but I think i'll get through it. 9 days is short.Anyway. Was supposed to lunch with Gilda but had to call it off because I had to find CIP opportunities. Sorry! Tomorrow I'll be helping out at Red Cross Home For The Disabled for about 2 hours then I'll go to Bukit Panjang Plaza and be a kettler! That's the name of the person who helps the Salvation Army collect donations during the Christmas season. You know, the one who stands at one spot with that red tin can for money and rings the bell for donations. My partner had better be some nice person. It's from 1-3pm and 5-7pm. I'm doing it on Friday and Saturday then I'll most probably request to change my location to somewhere in Orchard and change my time slot to 1-3pm and 7-9pm.

Life isn't that boring nowadays. Haven't gone cycling since Sunday and that proves I'm not crazy. Good. I have a life :)Spent time today catching up with friends. Went to school to do CIP for 1 hour at 7.30am this morning, then met derek for breakfast at 9 something. Then went to his place to talk more and play with his monkey while he did his A math.
Then I started using his phone to sms Ronald's friend and get info while he used my phone. I went to meet Kenneth chew at KAP after that! Haven't seen him for more than 2 weeks. And haven't talked much for more than a month! So we spent 1.5 hours talking and catching up, then he went with me to Red Cross home for the disabled. I needed to go and enquire about CIP work. No choice I need the points you know. So I left my contact details and they said they'll call my parents for the consent and get back to me for further details. We walked back to my house after that, then waited till about 5 plus and both of us left for KAP AGAIN to meet Michele for dinner. And after dinner, home!
Anyway, holidays are not going to be so wasted after all! Going fishing soon one of these weeks, and I think there is soccer at CCAB one of these few days and there's still the usual cycling. But jeremy seow's going to Australia in 2 days' time so that means can only cycle in the morning with Julian and no more evening cycling. Sigh. But most of all I hope there will be more fishing and going out. At least make it like last years' end-year holiday!!

Cycling on November 17
Woke up at 4am and then left house as quickly and silently as possible. Cycled down to Duchess. The lonely 10km, 25 minute ride. The road was very empty as usual. Finally reached and then met Julian and left for town. Cycled through Paterson and stopped at Great World for a while and then went to Esplanade. We cycled through the F1 pit building and explored the area. It's open to the public, didn't know that. Then went back to Serene and had breakfast before cycling home. Stopped by KAP to buy food for the rest at home. Reached home at 9.30.

Cycling on November 19
Woke up this morning at 3.50am. I put 4 alarms again. Left at 4. Had the longest ride so far. Almost 5 hours continuously. Met Julian at SPC then ate at Serene Macs before heading to Sentosa. We went through everywhere without anybody noticing. Into Sentosa, past Sentosa Cove, into all the small developments. All the guards were half asleep anyway. After Sentosa, cycled into Business District, then through City Hall area past Clarke Quay. Pass Plaza Sing, Somerset, Orchard then went to Julian's house to slack. Mum picked me up from there and I left my bike at Julian's place because she had to go to PS to run some errands so might as well bring me there too to look at dress shirts. Bought 2 of them in the end. Very happy with it :D

This morning was the best! Woke up at 3.50am, was supposed to meet Julian at 4.40am at his house. I only had 4 hours of sleep. Anyway, left home at 4am and cycled there. I was 6 minutes early. Went in for a while then we both left for Orchard. Haha cycling early in the morning is so fun. You get the feeling that you own the whole road because there're no cars. We reached Taka at like 5 plus to see the Subaru Challenge thing. Orchard like some construction site. Road repairs everywhere. After that we made our way to Singapore River. Used the longer way through Tanglin and then Grange Road. It was so peaceful there. Then we cycled to Anderson Bridge and crossed it to Padang and Esplanade. From there used the normal way back to Orchard. Under the tunnel was scary. There was this cement truck right behind us. Then went to Botanic Gardens and through Cluny got to Serene for Breakfast at 7.30. After breakfast went to Julian's house and then slept for like 1 over hour. Almost couldn't get up and walk.

So, I got my 10 DCs for skipping OBS. I would say it was totally worth it. 20 hours instead of 108 hours. And then we got to go for meals during DC, went to Far East and Wheelock with Philip on Tuesday. It was just like office work. Making phone calls to parents, scanning out stuff, de-filing papers. It was quite fun. The two admin staff there treated us like colleagues instead of DC people. Found out that Sim was actually a nice person. He talked to Philip and I quite a lot. Both of us were like the most efficient and hardworking people around, they sort of ran out of work for us to do. Completed my 20 hours yesterday!
Along the cycling route
I've been cycling everyday this week with Jem Seow. Getting tiring, yesterday we both were damn slow because we didn't rest since Monday. Haha I used the drive-thru at KAP to help him buy his double cheeseburger yesterday. He finished it in about, 3 minutes or less. But not exactly surprising. We both got horned at on Wednesday for suddenly cutting into some dude's lane. We're used to it already so just ignore it. Horns cause accidents because they shock the other person and decompose the composed. So people make a panic reaction and thats it. Not a good idea then. Drivers who horn become the road hazard. From a no-accident situation to an accident situation because the driver made the cyclist fluster. That's why, if a driver is smart enough, he won't do anything. And hence we can conclude that, so far, the drivers aren't exactly smart. They are just impulsive.

Yesterday went out with Shawn, Joel, Zhong Han, Derek and Brandon. It's been one whole year and we're still in the same group together and going strong. They wanted to bowl but the alley was just too crowded so we went to Esplanade to chill out. Sat at the roof terrace for a long time. Just did stupid and funny stuff.
