I got 9/15 for chem test. I think I have issues. Terribly bad issues. I've been scoring extremely low for chem. First 4/15 then 9/15. What the hell. Yet i was thinking of full marks. Ugh. This wednesday, I'll make sure its at least 12/15. So much homework to do for this long weekend. Anyway, something to look forward to tomorrow. Cycling with Adam and James!(maybe)Went out with Fong and Phil yesterday for Chinese New Year shopping (actually its just a very good excuse). Started with Heeren then went to Paragon. I got a shirt from Celio. Got 3 shirts already. Fong got a stretch t-shirt from Banana Republic. Phil almost bought a pair of slim cut jeans from Gant but they didn't have the correct size so he didn't buy. Then Phil had to go off to meet his mum. So Fong and I took a train with the intention of going to Vivo but in the end went to Plaza Sing. Springfield had nothing much and overall it was boring there. Fong wanted to buy shoes so we went back to Wheelock. Wanted to get Onitsuka Tiger no other brands seem right. But I think my mum will murder me cos I already got 2 shoes from Christmas presents. Then walked to Heeren to check out Limited Edt and he bought a white Tiger shoe for $170. After that went to see Swatch watches. There was this particular model which was quite nice. I'll find out the model number then I'll ask my cousin to buy it from Switzerland on my behalf since she's already going there. Took a train to Outram with Fong then took 970 from there.It takes forever to come. Reached home kind of late for dinner at 8.30.

There will be a partial solar eclipse passing Singapore this Monday, 26th Jan. It will occur from 4.30PM till 6.58PM local time. The max eclipse will be at 5.50PM local time. Don't get confused by NASA's timings because its in GMT. Don't take an afternoon nap.

Second week of school was fine. Except that for the first time in a long time, I failed a chem test. Chemical bonding-that was last years topic. Surprising, disappointing. But I guess its healthy to fail once in a while.

First week of school: not so good.I haven't started my studying yet. I think it's going to be too late already. By this coming second week hopefully the mood is back then I can start revising sec 3 stuff. For now, the only sec 3 I've done is for chem. Mostly because the notes make it so easy for self-studying.
4A4 should be able to do super well this year.
Best chemistry teacher, best physics teacher and a very effective A math teacher. Now I understand differentiation perfectly after she went through it on her first lesson. Much better than LEC.
Didn't really get a chance to do much work these few days. On Friday, came home, ate and showered then went off to meet hx and co at plaza sing to watch transporter 3. It is totally ridiculous. Which non-AMG E-Class can outrun or even match an audi S8? But Jason Statham is still really cool nonetheless. After the
movie, went to his house for his birthday party. His p6 brother managed to carry me. These karate people are crazy. Then Seth and his 2nd brother were like making a lot of jokes. Funny shit. Hx's parents sent me home really late at 12. Thanks for the ride(:
Saturday morning, went for my favourite sixth ave breakfast then went home and tried to start doing SS source based homework. Couldn't finish it because I forgot how to do so had to keep referring to last years notes. Went to ngee ann poly open house in the afternoon with Micah, patrick and leon. Dad sent me there. We saw all the science courses and solar and a bit of business accounting. Some feeling of depression at NP. Feels like if you ever end up there, no more future. Yes the science courses seems really fun and interesting but all the job possibilities are so boring and relatively low-paid. Who wants to work in a fish farm or be a horticulturist? Oh, how about a nurse? Maybe you wanna use liquid nitrogen to make ice cream. Sigh. Better work hard and get to acjc.
School's recess timings are super messed up. Now we all know Peter Tan's management=bad. Who has recess right after assembly at 8:30? And we're all very used to school ending a while after recess. So with recess at 9 on most days, everyone is lethargic and unable to pay attention by 12.
Still got 2 more weeks and then it's Chinese new year! Finally get a few days without school.

Suddenly I miss the holidays a lot even though it only ended 3 days ago. The part I miss the most? Cycling 4am in the morning. Haven't done it since 9 Dec! Peaceful, joy, stress-free and freedom. It's difficult to find the same feelings again. Totally different from any other time of the day. I suppose we never treasure and cherish what we have until we lose it. Hence I feel that maybe holidays were wasted. I hope CNY will come quickly this year. 3 weeks away from now. A long weekend is a great opportunity to do holiday stuff.Okay, first day of school-super short. We were dismissed at 13.10 because the school had nothing left to say. Could say it was alright. Not much stress yet. I was reading Eclipse during Chinese because the teacher was talking about many different Dynasties in China which I couldn't be bothered to listen. Then during A math, teacher was absent. So Ezra and I discussed Spanish grammar and words. After that was the usual school rules talk and they made us sign an agreement with them promising we'll abide the rules. Then if we break the rules they'll use that signature against us. Wth they didn't give you a choice in the first place right. Not like we were allowed to choose whether we agreed or not. This year's class mood wasn't as depressing as last year's first day, so no tears at all. Pleasant atmosphere I would say. After school went to KAP with Micah, Patrick, Hx, and Jem Seow.
I think starting school on a Friday is a good idea.
