I've been stuck in the 300+ posts range for probably more than a year now. Haha but never mind. JC life has been fun yet hectic. I posted a while ago my schedule and it's really crazy. Lectures especially for chem moves so fast that i can't really catch up. Add the part where i fall asleep in lectures and i'm really lost. Not my fault though, its really conducive to sleep during lectures. The lecturer's voice is always so hypnotising.
We had math test on monday and i only got 11/25. I think it must be probably due to not having taken a test in a long while. I was so nervous and my hand was shaking, my mind went blank at the 1/f(x) question. Especially at the last few minutes when i felt i was running out of time. Made a lot of careless mistakes as a result. I definitely could've done way better but my nervousness killed me. It makes me feel like i really wasted an opportunity. Plus, Graphing Techniques is supposed to be one of the easiest topics in H2 math, yet I didn't manage to take advantage of it :( The students in class, quite a lot of them scholars, did well. One of them got full marks and 2 got 22/25. Most of them scored above 18. But never mind, A levels is what counts (:
Today I went to Vivo to watch shutter island with shimin (: it was a good movie, quite thrilling, even though I normally prefer to watch comedies and rom coms. But i didn't understand the last part of the movie. Heard it was a twist, but I still don't really know what happened. Then took train to Clarke Quay and walked from there to City Hall. Haha walking through Boat Quay in school uniform feels really awkward. Like all the pubs and people drinking, especially the ang mohs, and they swarm the whole street. Then there we are trying to squeeze past the alcoholic crowd in school uniform. Guess we should have walked on the other side of the river bank, it's quieter there. Haha well the whole part of town is a nice place to take a stroll at, or just get some peace, especially in the middle of the night. But went at the wrong time today. I feel really familiar with the place and really like it (: Marina square to slack for a while then accompanied shimin home then went home. Haha i made good use of my time on the train! Read chemistry notes. I used to think it was very difficult but I guess I was just thinking too much. It's actually very easy to understand and like Alex Lee says, conceptual. Nothing to memorize :D So from lagging behind in chemistry I think now i'm in good stead again. Will be trying hard to get good results for the chem test in week 7. Please, I need to make up for what happen with Math test!!!!!
Oh, and I think we should look toward scoring distinctions for Promos, why are so many people afraid of "being retained"?
