It's been a long time since I posted here. GP essay's getting on my nerves. Somehow I am finding it impossible to replicate whatever I did in O level English. Sometimes I just feel like since it's A level GP, I need to write something much deeper and that really inhibits me from writing properly. The most difficult part is the start of the essay. I used to start with "Yes I agree with the statement", but now I have to think of something more creative. And is there really a need to write longer introductory paragraphs for GP? I can't do that. My essays last year were usually just with a 3 liner introduction, followed by a slew of long points. This year from all the model essays I've been given, I see that the introductory paragraph is usually 7 lines long. It makes things way more difficult as I tend to end up putting in examples and my points inside, and it leads me to not know what's wrong or right to do in the essay. Maybe I should start reading my geog textbooks again. Or posting more here to improve my writing. But most of the time I am just plain lazy to write something here, and the same goes for the GP essay. It was due on 7 June to be emailed to the teacher but it is already nearing the end of the holidays but I haven't done it yet. As usual, I am stuck on the first paragraph.
