Hello! I've been pretty stressed lately and now I really have quite a lot of white hair. There's chem test tomorrow and I'm going through hydrocarbons really slowly because it is pretty complex. Haha so many reactions to remember! There's the mechanism of Nitration of Benzene and Halogenation of Benzene to remember. On top of that there's the oxidation reactions for alkenes. There's like oxidation with cold dilute alkaline manganate, and also hot concentrated acidified manganate. Then I have to remember all their products and the conditions and stuff. That's just a small part. So complicated!!
Term exams are also coming up in start of March. Well although it only lasts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday then I get some break, but there's quite a lot of study for. And I don't feel like I know my work as well as I did in Sec 3/4.
Adding to my stress is economics symposium, since I'm president of Economics Society then I'm mainly in charge of overseeing this whole thing. Even though it is pretty slack in the sense that I don't have much work/research to do, it's stressful because I have to organise everyone and make sure they turn up for meetings and do their work or stuff like that. It's worse because a lot of them don't cooperate and they try to skip meetings because they got other things to do. I've to also write a welcome speech for the day of the symposium. Oh gosh.
Haha anyway been gymming and cycling as usual, together with studying. Watching the stock market less nowadays. The market action is rather depressing. I always see it's red or otherwise the green percentage is just really small. Perhaps I'm too used to seeing stocks 'fly', especially since I kept watching it in the recovery year of 2009.
I got E for econs by the way, even though I'm economics society president. Hahaha and this time term exams it's going to be a U :( I'm really lost in econs because I have no idea what the teacher is talking about. Time to get economics tuition-at an uneconomical price.
And on that bombshell, Goodnight!
