Somewhere only we know is starting to be a real nice song. Nice and meaningful. Top of the charts. Song of the week.
Today is the public holiday so stay at home until 5 o'clock then father took whole family out. Went to view one industrial building called enterprise hub. I like the place-as in not the unit itself. I like the carpark area. Every floor the carpark is right outside the unit. Which means you can actually drive up to your unit. Whether it is 1st floor or 6th floor or 9th floor. Which is good. But the better thing is that since the place was launched only recently, it is quite deserted. Plus the carpark area is quite huge. Like 200m or more Length and 20m Breadth. Thats big. Look at it without any cars. Its like one hangar that is for storing planes. High ceilings. Which if you know what i am thinking, means a place to learn to drive-i am always thinking about the day i drive for the first time. I have recently found out a method of learning to drive from a very reliable source. Using auto gearbox of course. Just put the transmission to D and the car will creep slowly, making it easy to steer. When you've got it, then you slowly start accelerating and thats how you learn yourself. Note: Try this only in deserted place. Meaning, no cars no people at all. Like? The carpark which i saw. Now my dad thinks im nuts and DANGEROUS and my mum thinks im overly car-crazy because I told them about how my friend named X(What a screwed up name) is a 13-year-old and can drive like an average driver and how his whole family supports him and why thats great and why that supports the fact that you do not have to be rich to be happy. Which is not true, for the mum part, at least. I am not car-crazy. I am driving-crazy. You see, this guy comes from Kampong, so very deserted, uncilivised, nobody to enforce law. Which all points to-LUCKY and HAPPY. It also shows that SOMETIMES lawlessness does make people happy. SOMETIMES. Anyway, back to the story, my dad brought binoculars there to see the city view and some islands around singapore. The view there is not bad. 9th floor and the ceiling is super high. Like 10m? So in a way it is 20 floors. Around that region. Then we went off to Marina South(told you we went 'travelling'). There was some beach there and as usual got the binoculars. This time dad wanted to see if he could see Bayshore Park from there. Didnt really bother me because the first thing i saw when i went there is people fishing. So i just kept watching them fish. They look like quite experienced fishermen but i think just that no fish so they caught only small ones. The place is rocky terrain with a lot of rocks and then got very few people fishing. Water there is rather choppy. No jetty just shore fishing. SOMEBODY's favourite. But the line gets trapped ever so often. After that went to pasir panjang eat dinner. I had stingray! Normally we go to Lau Pa Sat for the best stingray in the world(or at least i think it is) but we decided to try out new places for a change. The one at pasir panjang got a few stalls and ordered from 2 of them for a comparison. First one alot of chilly then very spicy. The other one was the worst. Even the newton hawker centre one also better. What next? Went home lor... what else P.S. I cant stop thinking about when my dad is going to have enough trust in me to hand me the car, with him at the sideseat. 18?? Thats a long time. At least he let me control the steering while the car was creeping(term we use when no brakes nor throttle is applied but car just moves). But he was at the drivers seat and i was at the back seat. Anyway i felt it was quite easy to regulate the steering.
Tomorrow i got tuition. Sad la.. tuition is like taking up my holiday time. Next thursday night got tuition. Night not so bad. Then fridays got tuition also. Somemore day. And at siglap so it becomes some what of a half a day affair. Tuition at 10 in morning(good) Finishes at 12, reach home 2(bad). Leaves me like how it is during school days. Waste time. Must learn to start waking up at 6am during holidays. Then i dont waste time. Time is precious.
