* life last week *
Its been quite a period since the last time I updated. Wasn’t depressed though. It seems like the last week at school really cheered me up after that terrible and heart-breaking weekend. The last whole week was very packed with lots of outings and stuff so I didn’t update. Was too tired and didn’t have the mood. Imagine a person who normally sleeps after midnight even on school days suddenly sleeping before 11pm daily. You get the idea.
Anyway life has been rocking. Or at least most of it. I don’t think I can still remember everything so I'll just write about the weekend. The daily recounts as well as the usual updates on random topics.

I know I talk about a certain Graham Whiteley very often. Some of you don't know how he looks like. So I decided to get a close-up picture of him last Monday. By the way, he stays near me too! Haha. Oh man, forgot to snap whats at the back of his head-nothing. Hope you get what I mean lol.
On last week
Went out on Monday and Wednesday. Can't remember we I went but can only remember that
Monday went Great world with Julian and Ben then headed to his house by taxi. The taxi Driver was interesting and cool!

Julian's house with Leon. We played hide and seek haha. It was fun!
Thursday
Micah and Jensen came to my house for a swim. They broke my boat. But never mind at least they didn't mean it.
Friday
Each of us got a free class picture. Click on the picture for actual size. I don't know why I wasn't smiling in the picture but I was considerably happy. And all of us signed on each other's photo! It was so fun. The year seems to have gone by so quickly. Really. I still can remember what happened last year. Seems like now is only mid-year. I don't know if the last day of school is happy or sad. Is it better to continue being in 2A3? Or move on?
After school, Ezra, Andrew Chang, Marc Ooi and Joshua Teo came to my house to play soccer. After that my leg sort of went numb. And by the way, Ezra's kick is like so strong.
Saturday
I ate this at Jack's Place 27 Oct '07. New Zealand T-Bone Steak! Yummy. Please either get a plastic bag to contain your saliva or hurry up run to the toilet basin if you can't control your salivary glands.
This was made in malaysia when on the way to Yong Peng. And the pic is MY LOVE!!!! Speed is just so cool and fun! But not always especially when your driver is a bit crazy. Taking a long but gradual bend at 200kmh.
P.S. Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. 230kmh!!! Still missing the 250kmh mark though. But that was because we ran out of road!
A closer look if your short-sighted :D Thats the cool thing about Malaysia, and why I love to go there. The highlight is always the North-South Expressway. Imagine going to Yong Peng (100km away from entry of expressway) in just 20 minutes! But this is counted record time. Was trying to get the top speed of E500 but traffic was not light enough. And thats not the limit of what an E500 can do. It can do more than that!
Its done by this thing here. Unbelievable? If you thought it was the yellow one, I just want to say that it is impossible for it to even reach 185. Model matters. Not looks. And please don't start saying merc is fast after you read this post. Julian will be very noisy. Cos it only depends on the model. 5 Litre V8. Thats what matters.
Now the video. I got a video while in the car returning to Permas Jaya, cruising around 160-200kmh. Somewhere around there. For best quality, please turn off the volume COMPLETELY to avoid hearing my voice talking to my dad about some personal matters. Its going to sound quite lame. But I'm thankful that you won't be watching this video beside me. So I don't have to cover my face. And I know most of you will turn it on even louder after reading this. But if you do, take note of the sound of wind. It's noisy alright. This video lets you know what the scenery is like at decent speeds. Singapore's traffic speeds may cause your car to spoil cos it doesn't allow fast cars to stretch legs. Cos the one below is blur, You can always refer to the meter above to get an idea of the speed. Just look out for the marker and see where it is. And oh yes, watch out for that lorry which we just zooms past. Thats fast. Its like a flash!
And then, finally reached Permas Jaya. Not going to describe anything. I'll just use pictures. According to somebody who looks like a professional racer to me and is very pro, he says i'm quick for the kind of slow kart im using. Maybe cos i looked like 10 as well.
Monday-Outing with Shawn and Zhong Han. When I arrived at Orchard I walked the underpass and obviously had to pass by the MRT station. There, I saw Yue ming and Bryan. They were going to Junction 8.
After that I met shawn and zhong. We walked around the shops in Wisma and Taka. Then to paragon toys r us and then slowly walked down the street to lucky plaza where we entered bossini, giordano and hang ten. They've got 3 hang tens in lucky plaza?!
Then we went to Tangs and shawn and i bought some chicken sticks which proved to be addictive.

Then Shawn's friend and her friend finally came and we went for lunch at Sushi Tei, the one at Taka. Niku Udon is nice, never get sick of it. After that went to World of Sports at Wisma where we just slacked while shawn and friends walked around. Zhong and I got bored so... haha
Then when going home I happened to bump into Bryan again. So coincidental.
At Jurong East MRT station waiting for the train at the centre platform. It was so packed that not everybody could get on the train and some people where literally being pressed against the doors when it was closed.
Today, went out with Julian to great world for the race we've been waiting for. I was totally OFF. And he improved alot. So he totally thrashed me this time. Like very badly. OUCH. I think Go-karting is killing my sense of steering for arcade games. Different steering ratio you see. But to Desiree: Daytona has about the same steering ratio as go-kart so we'll see :D

Today was like some Slack Sunday. I was too depressed to wake up early. So I slept till about 10.30am and was forced to wake up by my dad to take breakfast. Then after breakfast I slept again all the way to 1.30pm. I was just to depressed to wake up luh. No point. So after 1.30 I went to eat lunch and then I read the papers and some house interior design magazines before I marked Ronald's compos and came to com. I believe i owe this page 3 days of updates. thursday, friday, saturday.I didn't have the time to blog on Thursday, was too overly depressed on Friday, so I decided to just blog it all out on Saturday.
Anyway, first. My experiment
On Wednesday during bowling justin koh was using the oil clear sheet on his forehead and about 3/4 of the blue paper was literally transparent cos of the oil. Thats how oily his face is. So the next day I was bored and thought the blue paper must be quite absorbent. Therefore I tried it on myself. Hmm... no matter how I tried I couldn't get it even just a little transparent. And by the way, I just went for soccer with ac and gang during that time. I didn't want to waste it. So I began to think of ways I could test its absorbency.
And finally, I decided to do a fun experiment. Compare his face versus.... my kitchen, stove area (we do deep-fry food often). So just imagine. Justin koh's facial oil is 3/4 of the blue paper.
Then, I went to take the blue paper that I was using and put it on the oily brown cabinet above my stove. Just looked at the shine caused by oil!
This is how it looked like after I took it off the cabinet. Not oily enough!!
So I decided on a more oily alternative. That disgusting thing above the stove which promises to suck up all the oil that splashes around when we cook. Its got dust on it and on the dust rests many many oil droplets. It didn't look oily enough still and I started rubbing the blue paper all over the white area.
And, this is the end result.
Conclusion: We can see that the oiliest and most disgusting and hard to wash places in my house can't make the blue paper more than 50% transparent. From this, I can hereby safely conclude that Justin Koh's face is more oily than my stove. Pity your face wash. It's got to be hardworking!
Second, Promotion Day
I started my day by meeting Andrew Chang and co at CCAB to play soccer. Tiring but fun. We got owned by the Sec 1s in the first game. But the second game somehow they still won us but only by 1 goal. They were actually quite easy to play against. No pace. Just run and they don't try to catch you. So ya, scored 2 if I remembered correctly. Pro Andrew scored 4 if i'm not mistaken. He stood one on one with keeper and blasted the ball.
After lunch I went to meet shawn and zhong at jurong point. Its been ages since the last time i went there. Hmm it was quite fun although we were basically just walking around without any aim, we chatted and laughed and did some window shopping. Shawn bought 2 new shirts while me and zhong didn't buy anything. After like 2 hours we all went home.
Third, Black Friday
School started off quite good. We did CCA points checking. I was quite happy because I totally skipped all my CCAs during second semester and yet got the same number of points as SOMEBODY who went for all trainings and even got into school team. Thanks to other factors. We watched Johnny English and I really want to watch it again! Its real funny. Like everyone was paying attention and watching it. After it was over Julian lent his movie "Taxi" and we all watched. But everyone was like didn't care. So the whole place was very noisy.
Then, came the heart-breaking part. We were supposed to go to the concert hall to listen to the principal's talk. Oh SHIT. I got into B-band. When I heard it I just totally started crying and cursing D&T. I am so going to appeal. Think about it. I came from 1A1, then 2A3, now 3B1?!! Its just too much for me to take. I can't take it. B for bengs. I just refuse to be looked upon as a stupid, dumb, idiotic bum from the B-band who can't study for nuts. So I just cried and cried in the concert hall. Actually A-band and B-band only subject difference is that A-band got choice of bio. But omg, I want bio!! The other difference is that if I go B-band everybody is going to think i'm stupid. When I am just 0.6% away from A-band. And if I go to B-band, I am certain I will slide terribly without hope. Oh, And there is a plan. IF I end up in B-band, I am going to be very anti-social and the most ego I can be TO PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW IN CLASS. So that they will all outcast be and there will be no distractions. I'll be like mug whole year round and try to make it to Sec 4 A-band. Of course don't worry I'll still love my current friends as much. No difference. Screw Art and D&T. If they didn't count those subjects in I would have easily gotten into A-band. Anytime. Principal says he will look at our PSLE score and use that as our factor. Mine would be high enough for Barker. The rest of Friday I just became very emo and depressed. I promised myself that I am going to appeal and I am so going to do it. By hook or by crook I am going into A-Band. Its where my life is. Or else all my life is going to be sucked out of me. I will write the letters myself if my parents aren't going to do it. I just can't bear to lose A-band. For many reasons. Read on.
Four, Sad Saturday
The real sad thing that really makes me totally cry would be not going to the same class as zhong next year. And we are going to get separated. When I thought about this I really want to cry. I talked to him on MSN just now and began to cry again. It's as though someone just died. So depressing you know. I'll really miss him a lot. Must squeeze him tight on Monday. Next week I am going to take like a 100 pictures with him. Hopefully he won't begin to look down on me next year. One thing I am most scared of is next year, the close friends around me start to avoid me because I am in B-band and am "stupid". That's the worse case scenario. I hope it wont happen. All my close friends, Zhong, Jordan, Julian, Ben Khoo, Melvin, Mikey, Marc are going to A-band. Its more of Julian and Zhong, cos i've been with them for 2 years already. The rest are people i talk to often. So next year I'll be some loner. Only Ezra is going to B-band. But he has hope for appeal as well. Soon I am just going to let it all out. Now, all I need is someone to talk to and open up to. Thats the best solution I can think of. To Zhong: Thanks for staying up so late, its about 1.45am already, just to comfort me. I know you're sleepy but you want to help. Love. I owe you one now.
For lunch we went to causeway point because mum had to deliver car to some house in woodlands. Dad was blaming Mum for taking me on holiday. Mum expected me to take sides with her but I remained silent. So she realised that and started to blame me. Said that ultimately its my choice. Dad didn't want to blame me or allow me to get blamed so he just kept blaming mum. So they continued quarrelling. And I began to feel like crying again. But didn't want to do it in front of them so I really controlled it. I had a haircut there too and now I am back to being Winston. The character you saw for the past term wasn't Winston. Its a mushroom Winston. Now I can see the real me back.
Then we went to Giant at IMM to get some groceries.
Dad bought 2 cartons of Just Juice. 12X1 litre tomato juice, and 12X1 litre Apple juice.
So many campbell!! He bought 12.

I am finally done with my super long blog post. I don't think I have ever done so long before. The total time taken for me to complete this post not counting distractions is about 1 hour. Need to think and type and add pictures and edit. For now, my emo life still continues. Crying easily whenever I think about my friends who are going to A-band. Especially zhong. And he is talking to me. I am so touched to tears. I don't know when i'll be happy, joyful and lively again. Maybe when I can accept the reality. Or when I have someone to really talk to I guess. I want to go kart away all my sadness. Im sure i'll go fast. Anyway I don't really care about my safety now.

Today Julian ho, Ben khoo, Leon and Jordan came over to my place to watch movies. Yue Ming came later. So troublesome. Had to lend him money for taxi and lend him clothes cos he got caught in the rain. Always never bring enough cash. We ate Kentucky for lunch and as usual Yue Ming took the chance to freeload and take advantage. Luckily Ben and I had a plan heheheh. I think soon i am like going to be an Ezra and stop giving in to him or invite him.Everyone watched like only 2 movies? I wanted to watch 3 but thanks to the shortage of time, Julian, Ben and Leon left after watching Click. Transporter 2 was nice... I just love the way that chauffeur drives his cars. Like the Audi A8. Racing with a luxury car? Haha especially the last part. I see a Lamborghini Murcielargo Roadster! Effortlessly pursuing that whatever-you-want-to-call-him.
School was fine today. Actually i don't really remember what happened in school la. I was sleeping half the time. Really... slept at 2 last night. Then i told leon and he went "2 only... i slept at 2.30 you know!" Just the typical him. Sleeping at 5am cos of his games until 5.40 and then knocking into the door when he woke up because he was too tired. But he is a fun person haha. Sigh... teachers from science, art, maths, chinese, d & t and english came into our class today. We got back our pottery works!!

Anyway, we got back our maths results. Shit. Maybe triple isn't that visible anymore. Like maths was one of the few subjects that could save me... i got 72. A2. Crap. Hopefully CA can pull me up and mid year too. And my second ray of hope sort of got dashed too cos my english marks are crap. 38/50 for the comprehension section. Its supposed to be good but the problem is everyone either got the same as me or higher. And hey, i aint in the top class of sec 2. Hopefully the other classes got their papers marked by some other teacher and not graham. The only thing that can save me now is again, my CA which i got 80 something... and my compo... hopefully the story i wrote is emotionally strong enough. Next subject that is supposed to save me is science... which again, i dont think i will score so well.
I am damn scared.
You know what? Maybe i should practice what i used to do last year. Just get the papers, don't look at the results and leave it on the table. Everyone's blood pressure will rise like shit tomorrow.

* life today *
Last night i slept over at my grandmother's house with the rest of my cousins.Before that, Wayne and I had fun playing spy. Heheheh.... I was hiding in the drain to avoid some people. They didnt know. If you had told me the situation earlier i would have listened to you la... anyway after that went to shop and save after that then went back and showered then waited and the rest of my cousins to come. Like 4 guys and 1 girl sleeping in one room(really). hahaha and some physical activities happened. just kidding. We are decent people alright? After that we all just slept. Then in the morning i woke up at like 11.30 and i saw my cousins doing what? playing... TOYS. like they were taking out some toy ships and figurines and playing around plus they are older than me.
After that i rushed to meet yue ming and his friends at cineleisure and got caught in the rain while doing so. i totally hate his friend la... over the phone i already heard that guy asking me to treat them when i dont even know him and then after that when i was there he tried to trick me by saying that the movie ticket cost 8.50 instead of 6.50. luckily i didnt believe them cos i felt they were cheating me and only waited till i got the movie ticket to see the price and saw that it was only 6.50. haha LOSER. Anyway i went to eat alone at yoshinoya cos i havent eaten while the rest have. While going up the escalator i saw somebody from my tuition and i waved to her but i think she couldnt recognise me and merely shrugged her shoulders when her friend told her that i was waving maybe cos i have never spoken to her. Probably thought i was just some very random person. Then i meet the group again and we watched mr woodcock. Its funny overall but not like laugh till you drop kind of movie.
Then yue ming and i took a cab to great world city and went to play arcade. the typical yue ming didnt bring his enough cash. Always saying that he brings what he THINKS he needs. So as usual... borrowed from me. 10 bucks. He better return cos he's got some reputation for not doing so. Show me that i can trust you please. After that we went to THAT CD SHOP and walked around for like 45 minutes... haha we listened to The Click Five's album Modern Minds and Pastimes. the click five is nice!! haha anyway i took note of the nice songs and went home to download.
Tomorrow im organising a sort of movie marathon at my house. Jordan, Yue ming is coming. Possibly julian and zhong han too. I see a chance for more friendster pictures!!

Today for lunch we went to crystal jade at Shaw. After that we went to get a new shoe-to-wear-to-school-and-everywhere-else for me because my old one had a hot and gorgeous tear at the sole. Its the same on that Heng Xuan's got. I have been eyeing his shoes for a long time already cos its like orange adidas!!! and 70% white so i can wear to school haha. And its not like some low cut shoe. Its normal running type. So woohoo!! I went isetan... look around.. orange adidas! picked it up.. hmm thats heng xuan's!! exactly the same. So i chose it among other colours. Its loud!! UK Size 6.5. Anyway... i decided to take loads of pics of it. Can't wait to wear it to school on tuesday.

I just woke up and im bored so i decided to blog and at the same time, trying to shake off the awkwardness. Suddenly i have this craving for waffletown's chicken and kfc's chicken too! Just mmm...I think i slept quite early last night, was quite tired. Thats why im up so early.. at 9.30am.. like !!!! but dont seem to be able to recall when i slept. Haha yes im back to blogging at last after like 1 month?
Anyway yup exams are over! YAY!!
Yesterday after exams we went to ccab to play soccer. It was quite bad compared to wednesday's because our team which consisted of andrew, ezra, joshua teo, daniel toh, me and a few others didnt really play well. On wednesday we were like owning everybody in the court. Ezra, Andrew and I all scored and we set up goals for each other. But thursday we were losing. And everybody was like not playing seriously. At around 11, Marc and co left for andrew pang's house to play halo 3 and shower while ezra and a few others including me continued kicking around until 12.45pm when he finally agreed to leave after much persuasion from me and something i did. Then we went to Beach Road and got our items.
After that i went to meet marc and co at plaza sing food court for lunch and some things happened while we were just walking around. Somebody suggested we take the MRT to somerset so that can go cine. We couldnt go to Metz cos we sold our unit. We went to cine food court and took pictures and deleted many too. Then i went home with melvin and prepared my rod and some other equipment for fishing.
At around 9.30 i left for Bedok Jetty for overnight fishing. At first we put in normal hooks for normal fish. But there wasnt any bite after very long so we changed our plan and fished for baitfish instead. We caught quite a lot. I got some home to deep-fry haha. It wasn't how i had expected it to be because half the time we were busy and had no time to sit by the side and just dream and talk and create songs and take many many pictures. Next time i'll organise one overnight picnic-cum-fishing trip. Then its more fun that way. Ezra and glenn only slept 1 hour while me and tim huang slept for like 5 hours?
